Štěpán Štarha specialises in intellectual and industrial property law, IT and telecommunications law, data protection, contractual and private international law.
Štěpán primarily focuses on legal aspects of the creation and use of copyrighted works, legal aspects of information system implementation and computer program licensing, topics which he regularly lectures on.
In intellectual and industrial property law, Štěpán specialises in technology transfers, among other things, including transfers in science and research, and in trademark and industrial design protection.
Since 2010, Štěpán has participated in many major transactions involving information technologies. He has advised numerous private companies, including the largest banks, as well as public administration authorities on the implementation of key information systems. In addition, Štěpán has advised the largest software companies on the resolution of complex IT disputes.
