As a member of IP / TMT desk at HAVEL & PARTNERS, Slovak Republic, Adam provides the clients with expert advice on the matters related to intellectual property, technology, telecommunication, and e-commerce projects.
In the area of IP, Adam specializes primarily in the copyright, protection and enforcement of industrial property rights, licensing of IP subjects and franchising. In this relation, he has provided legal services to numerous Slovak and foreign clients, including software companies, film producers and pharmaceutical companies, and has deep experience in both court and out-of-court resolution of IP disputes. His expertise in IP law has been consistently recognized by Managing IP, earning him a Rising Star ranking also in 2023.
In the area of TMT, Adam focuses mainly on the legal aspects of the use of IT systems, cyber security regulation and electronic communications services. He regularly assists clients with the preparation and negotiation of various types of IT contracts and his expertise also extends to representing clients before the local telecommunication authority.
Adam has also co-led many e-commerce projects in sectors such as fashion, jewelry, furniture and firearms. Except the IP law, he regularly advises e-commerce clients on consumer protection regulation, marketing law and personal data protection.
