She coordinates the IP dispute resolution team of NNDKP, assisting clients in patent, trademark, design and copyright litigation, disputes related to regulatory and licensing matters, and complex interdisciplinary disputes with multiple claims and parties. She has acted for clients across a wide spectrum of industries, including some of the world's largest life sciences companies, in both enforcement and defense of infringement cases, at all jurisdictional levels, helping clients protect and enforce large and robust IP portfolios, manage risk and limit exposure to IP claims.
In addition to her IP specialization, Sorina is recognized as a preeminent litigation and arbitration practitioner, with over 26 years of experience in representing clients in high-stakes cases before domestic (High Court of Cassation and Justice, Constitutional Court of Romania) and international courts (European Court of Human Rights, Court of Justice of the European Union) and various arbitral institutions (London Court of International Arbitration, International Chamber of Commerce, Vienna International Arbitral Centre, Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, International Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration, Court of International Commercial Arbitration).
She is active in the IP community, being a frequent moderator, speaker and author on patents and trademarks, copyright and industrial designs, and related IP matters.
