Simonne Moodie is a partner and trade mark attorney. Simonne specialises in searches, filing and prosecution of local and foreign trade mark applications, trade mark oppositions, trade mark infringement, passing off and unlawful competition, copyright infringement, company and close corporation name objections, domain name registration and objections, due diligence, as well as trade mark and copyright licences and assignments, and other contractual IP issues.
With an honours degree in commerce, majoring in marketing, Simonne provides clients with strategic marketing and brand management advice in addition to legal advice on IP.
Simonne has legal experience from working in New Zealand, Australia and from a leading intellectual property law firm in the UK, before moving to South Africa.
