Sílvia Vieira is a Qualified European Patent Attorney and Patent and Trademark Attorney (INPI-PT), and an Intellectual Property Strategist at Patentree.
With an academic background, she holds a PhD in Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells from the University of Minho. She had the opportunity to work in different research groups not only in Portugal, but also in the UK and the USA, giving her a diverse perspective and know-how in the biotechnology and biomaterials field. During her PhD studies, Sílvia developed a great interest and skills on IP assets, mostly on the strategies available to protect and translate research into the market.
