Sepideh has been working within IP since 2016 and became a European Patent Attorney in 2023. It was her joint Masters of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from KU Leuven University in Belgium and TU Delft University in Netherlands that led to an interest in pursuing R&D, joining the research team in the Faculty of Engineering of Lund University where she also finished her PhD in Engineering. Prior to joining Zacco in 2021, she spent a few years at another IP firm in Sweden.
Her research primarily involved in the formation and characterisation and understanding of nanostructures using epitaxial growth and electron beam microscopy techniques, primarily for electronic applications. It was this broad education and technical expertise that led to her become a trusted advisor to clients across a range of traditional and emerging technological fields including electronics, physics, communications, material science, nanoscience, nanotechnology, automotive, mechanics and medical devices, among others.
Working in close collaboration with her clients, Sepideh’s dedication and attention to detail has helped many of them to better understand the practical implications of IP rights and how to leverage their potential use. From start ups to SMEs and multinationals, she assists with drafting, prosecution, searches and patent oppositions, sharing skill and insight according to each client’s need.
Sepideh is a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Institute (EPI). She speaks English, Swedish and Farsi.
