Sarah McMullen is a Senior Associate in Bird & Bird's intellectual property team in Dublin, with over ten years' experience advising clients on contentious IP matters across jurisdictions.
She has acted in some of Ireland's most high-profile pharmaceutical patent disputes, including the precedent setting cases involving tiotropium bromide and apixaban, enabling her to provide strategic advice on market protection and market entry.
Her trade mark practice spans brand protection and enforcement across pharmaceutical products, luxury goods, and retail and consumer goods, including preliminary injunction applications, trade mark infringement and passing off, and mediation.
She also advises on all aspects of copyright law, including acting in a longstanding Irish High Court dispute concerning equitable remuneration for performers.
In addition to being a solicitor, Sarah is a registered trade mark agent in Ireland with rights of audience before the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland and the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
