Rigel Moss McGrath

Rigel is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, and holds a Higher Courts Litigation Certificate. For over 20 years she has provided brand protection advice to clients of all sizes, from a wide range of industries, professions, commercial sectors, sports teams and charities.

Many of Rigel's clients work in the food and drink, healthcare, retail, sport and pharma sectors. She enjoys working closely with clients to enable them to select strong trade marks that will work well in the relevant market, and to ensure that they take proportionate steps to protect their trade marks when necessary. Rigel provides trade mark portfolio management services such as clearance searches, due diligence, filing strategies and the provision of infringement and validity opinions.

Rigel is an experienced prosecutor of UK and Community trade mark applications and of contentious matters such as infringement, opposition, cancellation actions and appeals. She regularly represents clients before the UK Intellectual Property Office.
