Okey Onyekanma is a Nigerian attorney experienced in all areas of IP from filing applications, prosecution, portfolio management and investigations to complex IP disputes in the courts throughout Nigeria.
Okey has practised IP law for 20 years and has gained valuable knowledge in a broad range of technologies. He is experienced in handling IP and commercial matters across various industry sectors.
Okey is experienced in IP litigation and has been involved in many cases. These include successfully defending a lawsuit against a commercial bank in relation to software infringement, and successfully managing the litigation portfolio of a cosmetics company which involved defending the company in over 10 different lawsuits pertaining to trade mark infringement in the Federal High Court.
Okey is a director of Von Seidels Nigeria Limited and is based in Abuja, Nigeria.
