Biography
Nicholas Groombridge is one of the nation’s leading trial lawyers, focusing exclusively on intellectual property litigation.
Over the past 35 years, Nick has been lead counsel in over 150 patent cases in federal district courts, has tried dozens of bench and jury trials, and has successfully argued more than 30 cases in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Nick has litigated patents across a wide range of technical areas, including software, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, wireless networking, consumer electronics, specialty chemicals, automotive parts, financial services and medical devices. Outside of the courtroom, Nick is the Chair of the Board of Riverkeeper, which protects and restores the Hudson River along its length from its source to the sea.
