Biography
Daniel has handled patent matters through every stage of trial court proceedings, as well as Inter Partes Review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Supreme Court.
Daniel’s matters have involved small-molecule pharmaceuticals (including in Hatch-Waxman litigation), biologics (including in BPCIA litigation), genomics and bioinformatics technologies, semiconductors, light-emitting diodes, software, and global positioning systems.
Daniel has also worked on a variety of pro bono matters, including on behalf of Planned Parenthood, The Innocence Project, and the Open Society Justice Initiative.
Daniel clerked for the Hon. Pauline Newman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 2013 through 2015. Daniel received his Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, and his J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law.
Daniel was recently recognized in the inaugural edition of the Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, which recognizes lawyers “who have taken the industry by storm in recent years.”
