Mark specialises in contentious IP, leading the Browne Jacobson’s patent dispute resolution practice. Ranked by Legal 500, World Trade Mark Review, Chambers, IAM Patent and MIP, he was shortlisted by Legal 500 at the end of 2018 for TMT Lawyer of the Year (outside London)
He regularly advises and represents clients in resolving disputes on the validity and infringement of patents. He has experience of obtaining and defending applications for interim injunctions and has conducted patent disputes in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Intellectual Property Office, with particular sector experience in the fields of electronics, medical devices, software, telecommunications and hi-tech engineering.
His brands practice includes particular experience in the sports and automotive sectors, leading anti counterfeiting and trade mark enforcement programmes often with a significant international aspect to them.
