Mara’s practice focuses on trademark and industrial design enforcement in Romania. She handles disputes involving trademark and design infringement, particularly related to e-commerce and unfair competition, as well as domain name disputes. Mara drafts cease and desist letters, negotiates and concludes settlement agreements, and advises clients on all aspects of trademark and design protection. Mara has ample experience representing clients before the Romanian courts, while she also works with the customs and police authorities on the surveillance and seizure of counterfeit goods.
Prior to joining CWB, Mara worked for five years as an attorney at law and legal consultant at another Romanian IP firm, where she mostly handled disputes involving trademark and domain name infringement and unfair competition.
