Dr. Heike Vogelsang-Wenke is a German and European patent attorney as well as a European trademark and design attorney with a strong background in biotechnology, with university degrees in chemistry and biology and a PhD in molecular biology.
Heike has published various papers on biotechnological intellectual property issues. She is also a member of multiple committees and associations. Since 2004, Heike has been a member of the board of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys (PAK) and she is chair of PAK’s disciplinary department since beginning of this year.
Furthermore, she is a Council Member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI), an Associate Member of the EPPC (European Patent Practice Committee) and of the Harmonization Committee of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office and Chair of its Nomination Committee. Last but not least, she is a member of the Disciplinary Board, which is a joint committee encompassing EPO employees and EPI members.
Until May 2023, Heike was Vice-President of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office.
