I joined Bird & Bird in November 2012, immediately after graduating from 'Cattolica del Sacro Cuore' University of Milan, with a dissertation on Intellectual Property Law titled 'Patent misuse, standard essential patents and patent pools'.
Over the years I have worked with Italian and international clients on a wide variety of sectors both with respect to contentious and non-contentious issues relating to IP matters such as trade marks, designs, unfair competition behaviour and patents.
I have been directly involved in several top contentious cases of national and international relevance.
Regarding non-contentious issues, I have worked on legal opinions and licensing agreements in English and Italian.
Since 2018, I am proud to have become a regular contributor to BrandWrites, Bird & Bird web portal covering topical legal and industry-related brand news, as well as recent trade mark cases and key changes to the law.
Since 2013, I have also been a regular contributor to Kluwer Trademark Litigation Smart Charts, a tool by Wolters Kluwer Law & Business that enables users to find answers easily and instantly, and compare information across multiple jurisdictions on trade marks.
