Federico is a partner at BERKEN IP and an attorney-at-law.
His practice is mainly directed towards contracts, corporate and business law in general. Federico is a specialist in commercialisation of IP.
For more than a decade, he has been involved in the active day-by-day advisory to major pharmaceutical companies, gaining broad experience in all business legal aspects concerning this industry.
Over the last years his work has focused strongly on contractual and transactional work in the life sciences. He has participated in several high profile local and international business transactions involving complex joint venture agreements, strategic collaborations, cooperation consortiums, tech transfer and licensing agreements.
Federico advises public and private companies, research entities and investigators operating in the fields of chemistry, biotechnology, veterinary and pharmacy, and entrepreneurs and technology-based start-ups.
Since 2017, he serves in AIPPI’s Standing Committee on Commercialisation of IP. He was Vice-Chair of said committee until November 2021, and afterwards was designated President until 2024.
He earned his Law Degree (2005) from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and is currently working on his thesis to obtain a Master in Business Law from ESEADE.
