Dr. Fabian Landscheidt was admitted to the bar in 2018 and joined the "Trademarks, Designs and Competition Law" department of VOSSIUS in Berlin in 2019.
His practice areas focus on enforcing trademark, design, and unfair competition claims against product imitations and counterfeits both in and out of court. He also advises clients on building and defending international intellectual property portfolios and on negotiating license agreements.
Dr. Landscheidt not only represents international and EU-wide operating companies from the US, China, the UK, and the EU, particularly in the food and beverage, apparel, consumer electronics, mobility, and biotechnology sectors, but also start-ups from the DACH region in developing sustainable and scalable intellectual property strategies.
Before joining VOSSIUS, Dr. Landscheidt gained experience in the trademark and competition law practice group of a major international law firm and in an IP-boutique in Düsseldorf specializing in patent litigation proceedings.
Dr. Landscheidt studied law at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. As part of his legal clerkship, he worked in the Civil Chamber for Name and Trademark Law of the Düsseldorf Regional Court and in the Intellectual Property and Anti-Counterfeiting Department of the European Commission (DG GROW) in Brussels.
Dr. Landscheidt is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Anti-Counterfeiting & Parallel Trade Team of MARQUES, the UNION of European Practitioners in Intellectual Property (UNION-IP), and the German Association for Intellectual Property Law (GRUR).
