Benoît Strowel is the Managing Partner of HOYNG ROKH MONEGIER.
Benoît specialises in patent litigation. He is qualified to practice law in Belgium, England and Wales and France. He splits his time between Brussels and Paris. Although an important share of his practice is in the healthcare, biotech, medical devices and pharmaceutical fields, he has handled numerous patent cases in other areas as well, including issues pertaining to mechanical and electronics-related inventions, aviation and military inventions. Most of his work is cross-border in nature. Benoit is skilled in navigating the various jurisdictional systems in Europe and has extensive experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional patent litigation. He also has considerable expertise in the regulatory issues facing major bio-pharmaceutical companies. Benoît holds an M.Sc. in general biochemistry and molecular biology from King’s College, London.
Clients include Abbvie, Biogen, Pfizer, GSK, Lundbeck, AstraZeneca, Zeltiq Aesthetics (now Allergan), Merial (now Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health), Mundipharma and Sanofi but also Conversant Wireless, Heckler & Koch and Open TV.
