Alan is a specialist intellectual property solicitor with a track record of achieving results for his clients.
He is an experienced litigator and advises clients across the full spectrum of intellectual property rights, including patents, trade marks, passing off, copyright and designs. His work enforcing the intellectual property rights of his clients means that he is well accustomed with various forums, ranging from the Court of Appeal to Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.
Alan is also experienced in advising clients with non-contentious matters, such as the creation, capture and exploitation of intellectual property to assist clients in realising the potential of their IP. He regularly supports clients with the day-to-day management of intellectual property in their business ensuring that they protect their valuable rights. Additionally, Alan supports with "troubleshooting" intellectual property issues that can arise during corporate transactions.
Alan's clients are wide ranging. From household brands, retailers, food and drink and manufacturers through to technology and digital, life sciences and medical devices.
