Adriana Barrera, founder and managing partner of BARLAW - Barrera & Asociados, lawyer with more than 28 years of experience, advising global corporations, developing comprehensive strategies for the protection, defense and litigation of trademarks, unfair competition, copyrights, patents, and protection of personal data. Graduate from the University of Lima (Peru) with postgraduate studies at PAD School of Senior Management - Universidad Piura (Peru), Franklin Pierce Law Center LL.M. (USA), and University of Salamanca (Spain). She was the President of the IP Commission of the American Chamber of Commerce in Peru (2021-2022), currently, she is part of the Board of Directors of the Intellectual Property Commission. Also, she has been invited to participate in the Global Advisory Council of Latin America and the Caribbean, for a period of two years, which is an elite group of International Trademark Association - INTA. Recently, she has been appointed as an expert for Peru within UNIFAB ('Union des Fabricants').
