Represented Hub Culture before the General Court of the European Union in Case T-132/16 (PayPal v EUIPO - Hub Culture (VENMO)), involving proof of use requirements for the three-letter trademark "VEN" in the cryptocurrency sector. Following unsuccessful outcomes in prior proceedings handled by another firm, LexDellmeier successfully preserved the client's VEN trademark rights.
Represented QVC, Inc. before the German Federal Patent Court in Case 27 W (pat) 3/16 - OTTO v. QVC, Inc., concerning the registrability of the single-letter trademark "Q" for retail services and related classes. The court recognised the mark as distinctive and approved registration.
Led a multinational anti-counterfeiting enforcement programme for a medical device manufacturer involving counterfeit products originating from China, Taiwan and South Korea. The mandate included litigation, customs seizures, worldwide investigations, coordinated takedown actions against three manufacturers, criminal enforcement measures and recovery of civil damages.
