Devaki Sharma

Devaki is a partner designate at Remfry & Sagar and a part of both its geographical indications and trademark teams. She specialises in advising clients from a wide variety of industries on the availability, and registration, of new brands. She also has significant experience in advising clients in the rapidly maturing area of geographical indications in India.

Her practice covers strategising, advising and portfolio management of trademarks and geographical indications from pre-filing through to registration. Devaki brings with her diverse, multi-cultural experiences – she has studied in Scotland and New Zealand and before she joined the firm in 2010, was working with an IP boutique in Auckland, New Zealand. Her fresh outlook to the evolving area of IP is a key asset for clients.
