Phillips appointed chair of Federal Circuit Advisory Council
Carter Phillips, partner at Sidley Austin, has been appointed as the new chair of the Federal Circuit Advisory Council
Phillips is a long-standing member of the Federal Circuit Bar and has argued 25 cases before the Court.
He replaces Ed Reines, partner at Weil Gotshal and Manges, in the role. Phillips previously served on the Advisory Council from 2000 to 2012, including as chair from 2003 to 2005.
