SIPO releases new draft of service invention regulations

The newest draft, made available on March 31, looks to clarify the obligations of employee inventors and their employing companies

An English translation of the draft regulations prepared by IP Key is available here. The original Chinese version is available here.

SIPO is inviting public comments on the draft regulations, which may be submitted to tiaofasi@sipo.gov.cn. Though there is no hard deadline for comments, according to IP Key, SIPO has requested that all comments be submitted by the end of May.
