Mr. Bhuta spearheads the overall Intellectual Property practice at A & A.
Mr Bhuta is a graduate in Law from the University of Mumbai (Bombay) and is admitted to the Bar. He is a Registered Patent Agent and also a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Mr. Bhuta is armed with vast corporate experience of over a decade (in Ub and later in a large TATA Group company), especially in matters relating to Indian and foreign Intellectual Property rights and other Commercial legal matters related to IPRs, Commercial Contracts, JVs, mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs, before he ventured into independent legal practice in IPRs and Commercial Contracts. He advises several international and domestic MNCs (including Fortune 500 companies), SMEs, trusts, start-ups, and Innovators on various IPRs for over two decades. Mr Bhuta is also involved in handling client relationships, human resources and other aspects of the firm’s management. Since -its inception, he has been instrumental in seeing the firm grow from a small IP practice into one of the most successful, professionally managed, highly ranked business-oriented full service IP law firms in India.
He is continues to remain at helm of the firms Aditya & Associates and oversee entire management of the firms. Over the last two decades, Mr Bhuta has had the privilege of advising on the IP policies, transactions including acquisition of IPRs, management and enforcement of IP rights to different types of clients from private individuals to start-ups, from SMEs to large Fortune 500 MNCs. Mr Bhuta has authored a few articles and is also a regular faculty in various seminars, and has presented papers on IPRs in India, Canada, USA, Hong Kong and Singapore.
