Tony Yeo is the Managing Director of Drew & Napier’s Intellectual Property department, and a Director in its Dispute Resolution department. He also heads the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. Under his leadership, the firm bagged the Singapore Intellectual Property Firm of the Year at the 2023 ALB Southeast Asia Law Awards. Drew also clinched a double win at the Managing IP Asia-Pacific Awards 2022, winning both the Singapore Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year and Singapore Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year.
Tony is a litigator with an active court practice as an advocate. He has acted as lead counsel in many complex matters, including numerous patent infringement cases. He is experienced in IP litigation and enforcement including patent, trade mark, and copyright litigation.
Tony is named as one of Asia's top 15 IP lawyers in 2021 & 2022 by ALB. He is also voted as a Trade mark Star and Patent Star in 2023 by Managing IP for 10 consecutive years. He is commended for being a “fantastic strategist” and “formidable litigator” who renders “first class service and quality work”.
Tony was appointed by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) as an IP Adjudicator for a two-year term from April 2019. He is also the President of the AIPPI Singapore Group.
