Stefan Keehnen joined WEINMANN ZIMMERLI in 2010. He became a junior partner in 2015 and a partner in 2022. Mr Keehnen has been advising clients on complex trademark prosecution, enforcement and licensing matters for more than 15 years. His national and international clients include large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals. They operate in various industries, including construction, sports, food, high fashion and wholesale.
In 2024, Mr Keehnen was recognised by Managing IP as a Rising Star for the fourth consecutive time.
Mr Keehnen is a regular contributor to publications on the subject of trademark law. He also frequently attends workshops, seminars and conferences on trademark law and related fields of law.
Mr Keehnen holds a law degree (MLaw) from the University of Fribourg in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Before joining WEINMANN ZIMMERLI, Mr Keehnen worked as an in-house counsel for a sports company where he advised the board on, among other things, legal aspects of trademark-related issues.
