Stavroula Politi joined Dr. Helen G. Papaconstantinou and Partners (“HP&P”) in 2020, following her tenure at another IP-focused law firm since 2014. She has been a qualified lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2012.
Stavroula holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master of Science in Business from Alba Graduate Business School.
From the outset of her legal career, Stavroula has specialized in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademark cases, anti-counterfeiting, and domain name disputes. She has extensive experience in trademark prosecution at both the national and EU levels, as well as in foreign jurisdictions. Her expertise includes conducting trademark clearance searches and managing opposition and cancellation proceedings before the EUIPO.
In addition to her prosecution work, Stavroula provides legal advice on all aspects of brand protection and enforcement of IP rights. She has represented various international corporate clients to safeguard and defend their IP rights before local enforcement bodies, including customs and police authorities.
