Mr. Patric is an Advocate of the High Court of Zanzibar and an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He has experience of over 15 years in the Manufacturing & Beverage industries as well as in the Construction Sector.
Mr. Patric David has also been appointed and entered into the Register of Authorized Patent, Trade and Service Marks Agent (BRELA) to be listed as an IP AGENT on African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) website.
He has been accredited by the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs of the Tanzanian Government, to be an Arbitrator and Mediator. He is currently working as in-house counsel and Head of the Legal Department at SBC Tanzania Limited (PepsiCo franchised products in Tanzania).
Mr. Patric holds a master’s degree in intellectual property law from the University of Dar es Salaam - School of Law, a Bachelor of Laws degree, and a Postgraduate Diploma in legal practices from the Law School of Tanzania and a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the Open University of Tanzania. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation from the Institute of Tax Administration as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Mediation and Arbitration from the Institute of Social Work.
