Nick has built a significant reputation for managing complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation. He is known for giving clients clear and commercially sound advice, helping them navigate difficult technical disputes to secure favourable outcomes, and ensuring they maximise the value of their IP in their commercial agreements.
Nick also provides IP consultancy for his clients, assisting them to develop IP strategies for their business, and leads teams in conducting complex IP audits and strategic reviews.
Nick advises across the whole range of IP rights including patents, trade marks, designs, confidential information (including privacy and industrial secrets), copyright and geographical indications of origin.
Nick regularly lectures and speaks at international conferences, comments in the media, and has been published in numerous journals on IP matters.

Education/Alumni: Nick achieved his master's degree at Cambridge University. He spent several years as a management and technology consultant at a leading consultancy before gaining his Graduate Diploma in law and his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Law School. He qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in intellectual property law and practice at Bristol University, first becoming a partner in 2012.
