Maja’s practice focuses on trademark and industrial design litigation and enforcement, as well as customs enforcement. Maja represents clients before the Slovenian courts, the local intellectual property office and EUIPO, while she also works with the Slovenian customs authorities on the surveillance, seizure and destruction of counterfeit goods. Maja advises clients on all aspects of IP law, and has represented clients from a variety of industries, focusing most recently on luxury. She also successfully represented a leading energy drink producer in court, in several trademark infringement cases against parallel importers. She has represented several leading companies in customs and other administrative proceedings and handled multiple opposition cases.
Prior to joining PETOŠEVIĆ in 2012, she worked as a judicial clerk at the executive department of a local court in northeastern Slovenia.
