Ilya has over 25 years experience and has been involved in prosecuting over 4000 patent applications, and is an expert on EPO oppositions and appeals, as well as a qualified UK High Court litigator.
He is most frequently noted and recognised for his technical insights coupled with commercial acumen and friendly and straightforward manner of delivering practical advice on highly complex matters.
After being instrumental in growing a traditional firm as a senior partner, he founded IK-IP in 2020 to provide a much more client-centric experience, providing other similarly highly experienced hand-picked practitioners in a structure enabling them to deliver top quality advice very efficiently to clients using technology.
