Ignacio has been a partner at Grau & Angulo since 2018.
He specializes in patents, trademarks, designs and copyright and has more than twenty years’ extensive experience in these areas as litigator and transactional advisor. He represents some high profile clients and is hailed for his clarity, pragmatism, thoughtfulness in dealing with technical issues and commercial acumen.
Ignacio has an extensive knowledge of EU cross-border litigation in sectors such as energy, engineering, manufacturing, media & entertainment, food & beverages, medical devices, packaging and logistics, and is particularly lauded for his technical abilities in complex matters.
Ignacio has also practised Law in the US (having studied US Patent law at the Chicago-Kent College of Law) and has a wide portfolio of international clients. He gives regular conferences and lectures on various Masters programmes at institutions including Barcelona Bar Association, the EUIPO, the AIPPI, ESADE, ISDE (Barcelona Law & Business School), and several Chambers of Commerce.
