Henrik Hägglöf is a Senior Partner and European Patent Attorney. He was previously the VP of Intellectual Property for one of Sweden’s largest global engineering groups prominent in the fields of tooling, materials handling and tech, and the mining and construction industries, and providing Henrik with extensive knowledge of IP applications within these areas. This was an organisation where active IP management formed an integral part of ongoing success and Henrik continues to combine his expertise and experience when assisting clients. He often takes time to help clients develop an internal corporate culture of IP awareness, assisting them with developing the tools and insight to proactively recognise and capture innovation when it happens.
Henrik has a strong interest in active and commercially-oriented IP management. His international mindset, gained form his work in-house and within consultancy, has provided him with comprehensive insight into identifying, handling and resolving a range of IP-related conflicts across the globe, often using a combination of negotiation, mediation, arbitration, licensing and litigation when necessary.
He continues to advise clients on a variety of patent matters in the fields of physics, medical technology and software development, developing and drafting prosecutions, assisting his clients with exploring potential infringements and providing validity assessments or establishing commercial viability when required. A combination of skills, knowledge and expertise that is often recognised and appreciated by clients.
