Francisco is an Industrial Engineering and Automotive Mechanical Engineering with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). He has more than 18 years of professional experience in Intellectual Property, with a specialty in patents focusing on mechanical, mining and aquaculture equipment and processes, electrical, electronics, and telecommunications area, adding commercial value to them.
He is specialized in advising and designing protection strategies for intangible assets for clients, focused on marketing. (Patent, non-infringement studies, freedom to operate (FTO), Intellectual Property policies, PPH, among others.) Drafting of technological intelligence reports (search of the art, FTOs, studies of non-infringement, and technological vigilance). More than 80% efficiency of success in patent drafting (mechanics, electrical, TICs, energy, industrial processes, among others.)
Francisco manages a broad portfolio of clients in various technical areas of engineering including mechanical, electrical, electronics, physics, and telecommunications, as well as in industrial design applications.
Francisco has been a speaker in different workshops on protection through Intellectual Property; and Technological Intelligence, mentoring new members of the company in IP and systems. He is also experienced in technology transfer office.
Before working at ClarkeModet, Francisco worked at OTRI CHILE S.A., OFICINA DE TRANSFERENCIA DE RESULTADOS DE INVESTIGACIÓN, a consortium composed of five universities in Chile, where he developed business innovation, generating: the design of business strategies, implementation of innovation projects, control and monitoring of all stages of protection of various technologies, implemented an improvement of internal process control.
