Dimitar’s practice focuses mostly on contentious IP matters. He has successfully represented our clients across various industries in trademark, design and patent infringement cases in Bulgaria. He is well versed in handling trademark opposition matters, cases before the Bulgarian Patent Office, EUIPO and BOIP, and coordinating cross-border matters. Dimitar has advised two well-known social networking companies, in multiple jurisdictions where we operate, regarding various reports of trademark, design and copyright infringement, as well as defamation on their platforms. Dimitar has represented several large sportswear and clothing companies in customs and police enforcement cases.
Before joining PETOŠEVIĆ in 2014, he worked for almost five years at the Bulgarian Patent Office, as a lawyer and the Disputes Department panel member.
