I specialize in copyright, media, unfair competition and advertising law, advising our clients in the media and entertainment industries as well as in the consumer products and healthcare sectors.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked as legal counsel at the German collective management society GEMA focusing on German, European and international copyright and collective rights management. This experience provided me with an in-depth knowledge of collective licensing and related issues in the music and broadcasting industries. Today, besides providing advice on media law and copyright matters, I handle regulatory issues related to consumer and pharmaceutical products, including the launch of new products, advocacy, advertising and distribution as well as respective claims and litigation.
