Andreas has 6 years of experience in working with intellectual property, with solid experience of patentability evaluations, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and freedom-to-operate analysis. Recently, he has also taken on opposition and appeal work.
Andreas offers an interdisciplinary technical skill set acquired as part of his nanoscience education at the University of Copenhagen, at which he obtained BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees.
His main technical expertise lies within the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, immunology, synthetic biology, and molecular biology. He is fascinated by natures illustrious evolution and enjoys working with new biocompatible technologies and applications such as drug delivery systems, vaccines, pharmaceuticals and screening tools.
Andreas has used his versatile skill set to help universities, start-ups and companies within the fields of biotech/pharma/medico to translate innovative solutions into durable and valuable intellectual property rights.
Andreas joined Potter Clarkson in 2020 and is working out of their Copenhagen office. He is a Certified Danish Patent Agent (CDPA).
