Stobbs advises and acts for clients across the whole life cycle of its IP, working closely with a wide variety of IP-intensive companies, spanning various industries, from brand strategy and development of filing programmes to protection and exploitation of those rights. Work includes IP commercial, dispute resolution (both pre-action and formal litigation), brand strategy, advisory, anti-counterfeiting, online brand enforcement, and portfolio management.
Our dedicated Culture Team fosters a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment that aligns with our values, enhances employee wellbeing, and contributes to the company's success and growth. Stobbs employees cover 25 different nationalities, and we proudly display this on a world map in the office. We like to encourage employees to highlight any cultural days that are special to them, and we celebrate these days by educating and learning about local traditions though personal experiences, quizzes and local cuisines. We encourage employees to set up informal support groups; safe spaces open to everyone if they want to get involved. Groups we have established so far include our Menopause Café, ‘QueerUP IP’ (our LGBTQIAM+ support group, open to everyone), ‘IAM Guardian’ (a support group for parents or anyone that cares for or looks after a child), and our neurodiversity group ‘All Kinds of Different Minds’.
