Other speakers at the June 6 event in New York include Sherry Knowles of Knowles Intellectual Property Strategies (pictured right), Lucy Nichols of CREATe, Mindy Bickel, an Innovation and Outreach Coordinator for the USPTO, and in-house counsel from companies including Google, Nokia, Biogen Idec, Avon and Ericsson.

The event will bring together women working across the fields of intellectual property to discuss the latest US and international developments in patents, IP litigation and licensing, trade marks and copyright and to hear from thought leaders in the industry.

Senior women in the IP profession will also share their views on leadership and on developing a career in the industry, at a time when law firms and companies are more aware than ever of the need to retain and support their female staff. The event is open to all women in the IP profession, from senior and junior in-house counsel to partners and associates in private practice and to academics and R&D professionals.

The event is free for in-house counsel. Registration for the Forum includes membership of Managing IP’s new Women in IP Global Network. This will give women in the IP profession an exclusive platform for meeting and connecting with women IP lawyers around the world, sharing best practices on developing women’s careers, and accessing online Q&A sessions with industry leaders and interviews with senior women executives.

A range of additional membership options are also available. Introductory offers are available until May 16. Click here for more details.
