Europe Women in Business Law Awards: 2016 winners

The best female lawyers from across the continent congregated at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London to celebrate Euromoney Legal Media Group's sixth annual Europe Women in Business Law Awards

An audience of in-house and private practice lawyers gathered to celebrate the achievements of those firms setting the standard in terms of female-friendly work practices, and women leading the field in the legal sector across Europe.

Those in attendance heard speeches from Constanze Ulmer-Eilfort of Baker & McKenzie who collected the Outstanding Practitioner award, and The Hon Mrs Justice Carr who received the Lifetime Achievement award.

In the firm categories, DLA Piper was named the best international firm for women in business law, and also received the prize for best international gender diversity firm. In other international categories, Baker & McKenzie won the award for most innovative firm, Allen & Overy was rewarded for best firm for work-life balance, Hogan Lovell was named the best firm for minority women lawyers, and White & Case was declared the best firm for talent management.
