New Israeli IP firm launched

Liad Whatstein, former head of litigation at Dr Shlomo Cohen & Co, has established a boutique IP firm in Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, Israel

The new firm, called Liad Whatstein & Co, provides the full range of patent and trade mark services. It opened on December 1 2014 with 10 litigators, and expects to add more professionals and scientific support staff.

Whatstein is known for representing innovative pharmaceutical companies in patent litigation and has also acted for the state of Israel. He has also led the IP chapter of the Israeli Bar.
