Managing IP’s staff will be in San Diego next week for the 137th INTA Annual Meeting, which starts on Saturday.

INTA Daily News

INTA Daily News

Once again, we will be publishing the INTA Daily News each day from Saturday to Monday. Those attending the Meeting can pick up free copies in the Convention Center (note that registration starts earlier this year, at 9am on Saturday) while everyone else can read and download it online.

The INTA Daily News will include reports from the sessions and keynote speeches, as well as interviews with VIP speakers and Californian in-house counsel, photos of social events, a Twitter round-up (#inta15), our regular vox pop surveys and the full daily schedule.

We will also include a selection of photos from affiliate receptions. If you are holding a reception, you can submit photos by email at photos@managingip.com

Also look out for the INTA Daily News quiz, which tests your knowledge of San Diego. With a question each day from Saturday to Tuesday, there are four opportunities to win INTA merchandise.

Managing IP booth

We will have a packed booth in the Exhibit Hall (#1320) so please come and say hello to our staff, including our regional editors, and find out more about our products and events. You can pick up a range of materials including:

  • Our special commemorative silver anniversary issue, with a selection of the best interviews from the past 25 years, as well as articles on the US, Japan, France, UK, Germany, China and Middle East, and news and photos from our recent Awards Dinners

  • Latest supplements, including the China Focus 2015

  • grey market map

The new edition of the IP Stars Trade Mark & Copyright Handbook

  • Our brand new Grey Market Strategy wall map, produced in association with Baker & McKenzie

Finally, we are pleased to announce the launch of the beta version of the Managing IP app for Apple devices. This will shortly be available to download from the App Store and our staff will be demonstrating it on our stand in San Diego. Come along to find out more and test it out.

Women in IP reception

Managing IP will also be hosting a drinks reception for its Women in IP Network during the Annual Meeting. The reception is the latest in a series of events for members of theinternational network to meet and share experiences following successful one-day conferences in London, San Jose and New York. Register to attend the reception here.

San Diego is a great city to visit and it sounds like this INTA Annual Meeting is set to be a record breaker, with close to 10,000 registrants. We wish everyone attending safe travels and look forward to seeing you there.
