Nathalie Wintermeier joins TWAINSCORE as a partner from the Arqis IP team in January 2024.
Nathalie Wintermeier started her career at Arqis, where she worked in Marcus Nothhelfer's IP team. There, Nathalie Wintermeier mainly worked on complex contractual and advisory mandates, thus perfectly complementing TWAINSCORE's practice, which is currently strongly focused on IP infringement proceedings. Accordingly, Nathalie Wintermeier will continue to expand TWAINSCORE's non-contentious practice in the areas of licensing, R&D and technology transfer. In the past, TWAINSCORE has already been able to acquire larger advisory mandates in this area, such as a multinational licensing project for a foreign company specializing in crash tests, a major joint development project for an e-mobility supplier or advising a biotech company on R&D contracts. Nevertheless, litigation has been the focus of the practice to date. The addition of Nathalie Wintermeier creates capacity for the further expansion of the non-contentious IP practice.
Nathalie Wintermeier also brings transactional expertise to her new team. In the past, TWAINSCORE has established good contacts with the Berlin-based tech transaction boutique RSR Rüping Schroeder Rechtsanwälte, which TWAINSCORE's IP team recently consulted for a patent-related IP due diligence.
In addition to out-of-court advice, Nathalie Wintermeier has also been involved in litigation proceedings at Arqis. The Arqis IP team around Marcus Nothhelfer and TWAINSCORE know each other from a multinational trademark infringement dispute in which TWAINSCORE partner Dr. Martin Wintermeier brought the team around Nothhelfer on board for a foreign manufacturer of cosmetics.

TWAINSCORE was founded in 2020 by Dr. Martin Wintermeier, among others, and has since had a strong focus on IP infringement proceedings. In 2022, Preu Bohlig Counsel Jakob Nüzel joined TWAINSCORE as a partner. Most recently, the core team was supplemented by the experienced counsel Agnes Lauer, who knows TWAINSCORE founding partner Dr. Martin Wintermeier from their time together at Ampersand. Since 2024, TWAINSCORE has focused exclusively on IP advice and disputes. In addition to the addition of Nathalie Wintermeier, the team is expected to grow by a further lawyer at associate level in the near future.
