Join MIP and CAS on April 14 for a webinar exploring how non-patent literature can assist intellectual property teams in spotting innovation early, reducing risks, and making faster, smarter decisions

Non-patent literature (NPL) is an increasingly vital part of intellectual property (IP) strategy, helping teams identify emerging trends, assess freedom to operate, and enrich patent landscapes. In this webinar, CAS reveals how IP professionals can unlock the hidden insights in publications, product releases, and technical reports that go beyond patent databases.

Matthew J McBride, director of CAS IP Services, and Kathy Van der Herten, director of product management at CAS, will share practical examples of how to integrate NPL into your workflows, from prior art searches to technology scouting.

Learn how early signals of innovation can give your team a competitive edge and how to navigate the challenges of volume, diversity, and credibility of NPL sources. The session will also highlight best practices for cross-functional collaboration, ongoing monitoring, and documentation, ensuring your NPL insights are actionable and reliable.

Whether you are strengthening novelty assessments, identifying potential risks, or exploring emerging technologies, the webinar will demonstrate how to transform IP decision-making.

A Q&A session at the end of the discussion will give you the chance to raise your specific IP challenges.

Register now for the webinar at 3pm BST (10am EST) on April 14 and start leveraging non-patent literature to maximise your IP strategy.
