Miller Canfield adds Shanghai IP partner

Kening Li has joined Miller Canfield’s Shanghai office, where he will head the firm’s China IP team

Li previously led the Asia IP team at Pinsent Masons. His practice focuses on IP strategy and freedom-to-operate issues, as well as licensing and portfolio management. He is also experienced in patent prosecution in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and chemicals as well as patent litigation matters in China and the US, including section 337 matters.
Li received his JD and PhD in molecular biology/plant pathology from the University of Wisconsin.
