Intellectual Ventures cuts staff by 19%

Intellectual Ventures has announced it will reduce its staff by 19%, its second reduction this year

"We are making operational changes that are consistent with this reduction and will enable us to maintain and expand our leadership in the market for invention," Reuters quoted the company as saying.

Intellectual Ventures says on its website that it has more than 700 staff worldwide.

The firm announced a 5% staff reduction in February.
