Tool to forecast trade mark demand launched

IP offices hope to be able to better predict levels of trade mark and design filings, thanks to the launch of a new forecasting tool

The tool has been developed within the EU Cooperation Fund and the Observatory on Infringements of IP Rights, thanks to the collaboration of the offices of Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, the UK and OHIM as well as the Polytechnic University of Madrid. The EPO participated as an observer.

It will be implemented by 17 participating offices in the European Trade Mark and Design Network.
