"Indefinite" hold on new USPTO offices is unlikely to last long
Last week, the General Services Administration (GSA) indefinitely halted its search for a permanent home for the USPTO’s new Silicon Valley office. The news was met with disappointment by industry and lawyers, who had hoped the office –one of five new USPTO locations planned around the country – would help speed up the application process. Efforts to move from temporary to permanent spaces for the new Denver and Dallas offices will also be delayed
