Irwin Mitchell and Mishcon de Reya add partners

Irwin Mitchell and Mishcon de Reya have both recruited partners, in the latest moves in the UK IP market

Irwin Mitchell has hired Georgie Collins from Brown Rudnick, where she was head of IP. She specialises in cross-border disputes including parallel imports and counterfeiting.

Meanwhile, Mishcon de Reya has appointed Sally Britton to its 20-strong IP group. She joins from Pitmans SK Sports and Entertainment, where she was head of trade marks, and was previously at Hammonds.

Britton focuses on trade mark and design filing, portfolio management and IP infringement and before qualifying as a lawyer she worked in brand management for Heinz, Reckitt Benckiser and Budweiser.
